Fun with the Ukulele!
Join us for Fun with the Ukulele! Attendees will have fun with an opportunity to learn and play the ukulele. This week-long group course is for children (8-12) who are are brand new to the ukulele! Mad Music will provide ukuleles for the workshop, but attendees are welcome to bring their own!

Start your musical journey with our week-long group ukulele class designed for the younger beginner. The class covers all the essentials of the ukulele.

Schedule
The class is four days starting Monday, June 16 through Thursday, June 19. The classes are from 10:00am - 11:00am each day.
Fundamentals
History, musical styles, ukulele types, tuning, and common terms.
Chords
Basic technique, finger position, basic chords, and chord sequences.
Rhythm
Strumming patterns, right-hand technique, and keeping time.
Songs
Song structure, analyze a song, and play a song!
Class fees are non-refundable.
