Guitar Instructor (Part-time)

In-Person/On-Site

Do you have a passion for teaching guitar and helping students grow through music? Mad Music is looking for a dedicated Guitar Instructor to join our team!

As a Guitar Instructor, you'll teach students of all ages and skill levels through engaging, one-on-one lessons. You'll help students build strong playing techniques, develop musicianship, read music and chord charts, and achieve their individual musical goals. 

Instructors are responsible for creating structured lesson plans, encouraging consistent progress, preparing students for showcases and performances, and fostering a fun, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

What we're looking for:

• Previous education and/or teaching or performance experience in music
• Strong guitar-playing skills and the ability to teach a variety of styles and skill levels
• Proficiency in reading music and teaching fundamental music theory concepts 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, dependable, and professional
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for teaching and music
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Violin/Viola Instructor (Part-time)

In-Person/On-Site

Do you have a passion for teaching strings and helping students grow through music? Mad Music is looking for a dedicated Violin/Viola Instructor to join our team!

As a Violin/Viola Instructor, you’ll teach students of all ages and skill levels through engaging, one-on-one lessons. You’ll help students develop strong technique, tone production, intonation, and musicianship, while also building confidence in reading music and performing. Instructors are responsible for creating structured lesson plans, preparing students for performances and recitals, encouraging steady progress, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous education and/or teaching or performance experience in music 
• Strong violin and/or viola performance skills with proficiency in reading standard music notation and teaching students of varying ages, skill levels, and musical styles 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Reliable, dependable, and professional 
• A positive attitude with a genuine passion for teaching and music 
• Must be 18 years of age or older
